Visit the Villa and the Garden

The visit to the Villa and the Garden takes place in full autonomy; you will be provided with a map with a path to follow, on which there will be many "observation points"; here, you can find signs with a QR Code: scan the code with your smartphone, it will tell you the history of the point where you are and will give you information on the plants and works you are observing.

The complete route covers an area of 4 hectares and is a loop about 450 m long, with a maximum elevation gain of 20 meters.

It starts on the ground floor of the Villa, where you can access, among other things, the vestibule, the chapel and the reading room, all adorned with mural frescoes made by various artists friends of Charles Garnier.

Outside, the path, indicated by special signs, winds through the paths and terraces of the Garden. The duration of the visit is approximately 1 hour.

We are open all year round, every day of the week.

From April 1st to October 15th:

Morning: 09:30 to 11:30, Exit by 12:30
Afternoon: 14:00 to 17:30, Exit by 18:30

From October 16th to March 31st::

Morning: 09:30 to 11:30, Exit by 12:30
Afternoon: 14:00 to 16:00, Exit by 17:00

In cases of exceptional conditions of risk for the safety and security of people, timely communications will be provided with the most suitable means and assistance for exit will be guaranteed.

Sectors of the park in which maintenance work is carried out or subject to dangers to the safety of people can be temporarily forbidden and indicated with special signs.

Visitors are recommended to follow the path defined by special signs without leaving it.

It is ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN to take all or part of any botanical species and any artistic artifact.

Photographs and video footage of buildings, botanical species and panoramas are permitted for personal purposes only. The use of such images or videos for other purposes must be authorized by management.

Considering the delicacy of some plants and furnishings of the Villa, unfortunately it is not possible for us to admit pets.
