Holiday home
Villa Garnier was designed and built by the architect Charles Garnier in 1873, on the hills of Bordighera, facing the sea.
Winter residence of Garnier and his family until 1898, today it is a charming holiday home run by the nuns of St. Joseph of Aosta, at your disposal for stays in total relaxation.
A few steps from the Villa, crossing the large botanical garden, we find the Dépendance, ready to welcome you with its comfortable and bright rooms.
In the Villa there are several common areas available to all guests: the dining room, the television room and the entrance room, all beautifully decorated with frescoes depicting cherubs, animals and floral decorations; in some frescoes caricatures, portraits of characters or simple "sketches" appear, traced by friends whom Garnier often invited to his Villa.
Outside, we can find the Garden, full of exotic plants and flowers, and we can go down the stairs to the Terrace, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea and the port of Bordighera.
There’s much more: once you leave the Villa, you will find many experiences in the surroundings, discover them all!
Room "Sea Blue"

Charles Garnier's room! The architect of the Paris Opera slept right here. The room is spacious and bright, thanks to three French windows that open onto the balcony facing the sea and onto the large terrace on the first floor of the Villa.
Here you can relax, read or simply sunbathe on deck chairs, enjoying the fantastic view of the sea and the mild climate of Bordighera.

"Ponente" Room
Double room in Villa Garnier with sea view, balcony and en-suite bathroom.
The "Ponente" room is located on the second floor of the Villa and is large and bright, perfect for a relaxing and regenerating stay. The light makes its way through the three French windows, and from the balcony the view ranges from the blue of the sea to the houses of the high village, clinging to the hill.

"Torretta" room

Minors who have not yet reached the age of 12 on the day of the start of the stay are exempt from payment
The establishment of this tourist tax is pursuant to Article 4 of Legislative Decree 23 of 14/03/2011 and with Resolution of the Municipality of Bordighera no. 209 of 30/09/2025.
