What there is to see

Villa Garnier is ideally located, whatever experience you wish to have! You can devote yourself to sport, discover the inland villages, relax by the or immerse yourself in the glamour of the Côte d'Azur and Monte Carlo!

A few meters from the Villa, you can explore the historic center of Bordighera, with its shops and typical restaurants. In the cold months you can walk along the Argentina promenade and admire some of the most exciting sunsets in Italy. In summer, the same promenade is colored with music and restaurants and allows you to access the sea, the bathing establishments as well as the many free beaches.

If, on the other hand, you prefer cultural routes, you can visit the characteristic church of Sant'Ampelio, built on the rocks of the cape of the same name, and the Museum dedicated to Clarence Bicknell, on the Via Romana.

And then, if you like tennis, take the opportunity to visit the Bordighera Lawn Tennis Club, the oldest tennis club in Italy, open since 1878!

Moving westwards, you can reach neighboring France and one of its most iconic areas: the French Riviera. Here you can visit the Principality of Monaco.with its “Rocher”, where the Prince's Palace is located. Don't forget to visit the Monte Carlo Casino. beautifully built by Charles Garnier, the same architect of the Villa.

Not far from the Principality, you will find the characteristic villages of the Côte d'Azur, such as Menton, Èze, Beaulieu-sur-mer up to the city of Nice.

Going eastwards, here is Sanremo, famous for the Italian Song Festival but not only! Here you will also find the Casino and the splendid Russian Church , as well as the central Via Matteotti, a pedestrian street full of shops and clubs.

For those who love cycling, the fantastic Cycle Path of the Riviera dei Fiori Coastal Park not to be missed. Built on the route of the former railway, the track runs close to the sea for 33 km, from Ospedaletti to Imperia, offering unparalleled views and emotions.

Liguria is not just the sea! Just go a few kilometers into the hills to discover some of the most beautiful villages in Italy nestled in the hills. Dolceacqua, Apricale, Pigna, Seborga and many others await you for walks to discover typical products and breathtaking views.
